McCall's offers several community and individual activities as a break from learning and work
opportunities, ranging from the Fall Festival, Christmas Banquet and Dance, Valentine's Ball
and 4th of July Family Day to swimming parties, and picnics. Every week there is a dance,
bingo night and basketball games. Each year many residents participate in local and regional
Special Olympics activities, bringing home medals they proudly display in their rooms. There
are also several trips the residents go on including Disney World, Six Flags, Branson, Arbuckle
Wilderness, Fronteir City and shopping trips to Oklahoma City or the trip of their choice. Trips
to the local movie theatre are also very common.
