The staff at McCall's includes caring and attentive DDCA certified direct care aides
(Developmental Disability Care Aide); Qualified Mental Retardation Professionals
(QMRP); nurses; Certified Medication Aides; office support personnel; and dietary, laundry
and maintenance staff. The certification and continuing training of our staff by full-time
trainers, facility-wide quality assurance reviews by care-team coordinators, and the
interdependent family relationships engendered among staff and residents creates a
comfortable and nurturing environment to the benefit of everyone at McCall's.
Admissions
A personal interview and home (or other place of residence) visitation is required for
admission and can be arranged at the family's convenience. An application for admission
requires psychological, social and health history and educational information. In some
instances evidence of guardianship may be required. In those instances in which we are not
able to fully serve the needs of the individual, we will suggest alternative arrangements.
